2. GAMBLING RESPONSIBLY
Responsible Gambling means gambling for leisure and entertainment, while being fully aware of the associated risks and maintaining a balance with other aspects of life so as not to cause harm to yourself and others.
Tips for gambling responsibly:
- Know the rules – Take the time to read our Terms & Conditions and Betting Rules. In there you will find information on our wagering products and payout limits.
- Play for fun - Enjoy a bet, but keep in mind that the outcome is not in your control. Gambling is not a sound strategy for making money. Never gamble more than you are willing to lose.
- Do not chase losses – Attempting to win back what you have lost is not a viable strategy. Gambling can be emotional, especially when losses occur. It's important to remain level-headed and avoid making impulsive decisions based on emotions.
- Avoid betting systems – Be cautious of betting systems or strategies that promise guaranteed profits. These systems often rely on flawed logic and can lead to significant losses.
-
Set a budget – Plan how much you want to spend and stick with it.
Need help setting a budget? Use a Gambling Calculator to help plan how much you want to spend. Take advantage of our Account Management Tools, and apply a deposit limit to your Account to help you stick to your budget. - It’s all about balance – Gambling can be a part of your social life without dominating it. Make time for other important aspects of your life like work, family and hobbies to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
- Do not gamble when intoxicated – It’s important to stay aware of the potential impacts of alcohol and other substances on your gambling. Despite what you might think, they won’t help you pick a winner.
- Use our Account Management Tools – Set some controls on your Account to help manage your wagering. You can find more details on the Account Management Tools available to help you stay in control of your gambling below.
- Seek Help if Needed – If you find that gambling is negatively impacting your life, relationships, or finances, consider seeking help from support groups or professionals specialising in gambling addiction. Details of support services can be found below.
