Why do I need to verify my mobile number?
Verifying your mobile number helps keep your account secure and ensures we can send important account-related SMS messages to you.
Mobile verification also helps us confirm that the contact details on your account are accurate and up to date.
For customers in Australia, a verified mobile number is required to access certain account features, including withdrawals.
How do I verify my mobile number?
When verification is required, you'll see a green 'Verify Now' button within your account. You can find this in My Account > Details, or when you head to the withdrawal tab.
- Select Verify Now.
- We'll send a 6-digit verification code via SMS to the mobile number registered on your account.
- Enter the code in the verification screen.
- Once the code is confirmed, your mobile number will be verified.
Most verification codes arrive within a few seconds.
When will I be asked to verify my mobile number?
New customers
If you're creating a new account, you'll be asked to verify your mobile number during the sign-up process before your account can be created.
Existing customers
If your mobile number hasn't already been verified, you'll be asked to verify it before you can submit a withdrawal request.
Once your number has been verified, future withdrawals won't require you to repeat the process unless your mobile number changes.
How do I update my mobile number?
You can update your mobile number through the Details section of your account.
For security purposes, you'll first need to verify your email address using a verification code sent to the email address registered on your Picklebet account.
Once your email has been verified, you'll be able to update your mobile number and complete mobile verification for the new number.
I didn't receive my verification code
If your verification code hasn't arrived:
- Check that the mobile number on your account is correct.
- Make sure your phone has mobile service and can receive SMS messages.
- Wait a few moments and then request a new code if available.
- Check that SMS messages from unknown numbers aren't being blocked by your device.
