When you create an account with Picklebet as an Australian resident, and with your consent at signup, we may verify your identity using credit reporting information held by the Illion Credit Bureau and Equifax Credit Header, as part of our identity verification process.
If your details didn’t match the records held on file by either credit reporting body, you will be notified via email soon after completing signup, as required by legislation. But don’t worry, this process doesn’t leave any mark or in any way alter your credit history. This is an identity verification check only.
If you’ve not yet completed your ID verification, you can finalise it within the Picklebet platform through the Verification tab.
If you’ve already completed your ID verification, you don’t need to do anything further. If you want to check the details held by either credit reporting body about you, you can contact them directly: Equifax at equifax.com.au or on 138 332, or Illion at experian.com.au or on 1300 783 684.
