A 'total maps' market means you are placing a bet on the total number of maps played in a match.
Example
In a best of 3 match, if you place a bet on the 'under 2.5' market, you are betting that there will only be 2 maps played (one team will win the match 2-0).
If you bet on the 'over 2.5' market, you are betting that the match will include all 3 maps (one team will win 2-1).
